Enhance Your Project with Professional Interior Photography

Pre-Production & Project Details

  1. Project scope - How many spaces are we photographing? I allow myself roughly 60-90 minutes per space (obviously, that can be much lower for a small space like a powder room, and could be more for a large, open space that needs a lot of coverage). We'll build a schedule for the day and a shot list so we don’t miss anything.

  2. Photos or site visit - This gives me a better understanding of the space and the details you want to highlight or replicate. Cell phone photos are VERY helpful for me - they tell me where the natural light is coming from, and give me a basic idea of what challenges I’ll need to solve on set.

  3. Styling Plan - I always recommend that my clients work with a stylist during the Photography Session. Meet with your stylist, and start building a plan with them, so during your session, we are ready to go. I can make a few tweaks here and there, but I’m not a skilled stylist by any means.

  4. Contract agreements, Deposits, and Scheduling. This is pretty self explanatory. A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the shoot cost is required to reserve your date.

Session Day

  1. Set-up - I gather my gear and put everything together to take the first photograph. Any last minute styling adjustments can happen here as well (ie, live florals). We review the shot list one last time.

  2. Tethered photography - I want to make sure you're going to be happy with every detail in every image. I use a system that allows you to see exactly what's in the frame, including a live feed for easy styling adjustments. I will make edits to the photographs as we take them to give you a more accurate preview of the final product.

  3. Each "photo" is one lighting set up. Once we get the hero photograph, I'll remove my camera from the tripod and capture a few details, so you have more to work with.

  4. Continue until we are finished for the day.

  5. Tear down

Post-Production and Delivery

  1. Editing & Retouching - All photographs are retouched prior to delivery. Retouching includes removing can lights, speakers, outlets, motion sensors, thermostats, alarms, light switches, and anything unsightly like small imperfections in surfaces, reflections, or cables. I try to do as much as I can in-camera, but that's not always possible.

    1. Typically 3-6 week turn around.

  2. Delivery - Photos delivered digitally in high quality format, per your requirements. Photos are automatically released for download once the invoice is paid in full.

I’m Constance!

I’m the face behind C Gauthier Photography and I love what I do!

When I’m not behind the camera, you can find me at the barre studio, swimming some laps at the local pool, walking my dog, reading, or my favorite, running around with my toddler.

On set, you’ll probably hear me talking to myself as I set lights and calculate exposures, or making up silly songs, like I do at home.

Unrelated to anything and in no particular order, I love a high quality chocolate chip cookie (I’m talking french butter and dark chocolate chips), true crime, coffee shop jazz, a full bodied red, swing dancing, and avocados.
